The City of New Westminster is creating a Solid Waste Master Plan to guide how we manage waste including garbage, recycling and organics in our community.
We want to hear your:
- Feedback on current waste collection services (recycling, organics, garbage)
- Input on public education regarding proper sorting and reducing the amount of waste thrown into the wrong bin
- Interest in participating in programs like repair cafés and pop-up recycling events
- Suggestions for future initiatives that would help move towards zero waste
- Priorities for the Solid Waste Master Plan
Your responses will help us develop recommendations for the Solid Waste Master Plan and help guide our decisions in building a sustainable waste management system for New Westminster.
Be Heard members who complete the survey can choose to enter a prize draw for one of two $50 gift cards to a local business of your choice! Two prizes will be awarded by random draw after the survey has closed.
The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will be open until the end of day on December 8, 2024.
